Dede Redfearn, MEd, LCSW Owner

Dede Redfearn, MEd, LCSW

Owner

Dede Redfearn is a native of New Orleans and has a strong commitment to the city to which she gives back in a variety of ways.

Dede has a background that has always involved helping people. She was a special education teacher for ten years and holds a master’s in special education. Dede is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has provided counseling and ran a variety of programs for youth primarily involved in State custody due to abuse, neglect and/or delinquency. Dede currently sits on the board of JeffCare, which is a Federally Qualified Health Center, and BoysTown Louisiana. Dede opened the hearing healthcare business in 2013 because it is another way to help people improve their quality of lives by allowing them to engage more in life and participate in communication.

Dede is married and has two adult children, all of whom she adores. She enjoys spending time outdoors in Mississippi or vacationing where she can hike and find a waterfall.

Tony Goyette, HIS Hearing Instrument Specialist

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Tony Goyette has been involved in the hearing aid industry for over 25 years. He now considers his hearing impairment a gift because it led him to this profession.

He is able to use his daily experiences in addition to his professional knowledge to help educate and guide clients toward improved hearing. Many of his clients remark that the testing is more thorough than what they have experienced in the past. Other clients comment that his patience and time spent on proper fitting is amazing and worth the drive from wherever you may live.

Tony has two precious daughters and loves to watch them play soccer and volleyball. He loves music and plays guitar, not very well, but says it’s fun trying. He also enjoys woodworking projects, fixing things, playing pinball, and watching the Saints. Who Dat!

Julia was raised in Belize and moved to the United States in 2009. She is a mother of one son who loves to play baseball.

She enjoys playing soccer, spending time with family, and going to the beach. She likes to travel and hopes to see as many places as possible. Julia is currently doing kick boxing as a form of exercise. We were thrilled to have her join our team in 2022!

Community Outreach Coordinator

Margie Schwegmann-Brown is a native of New Orleans, and the proud mother of a son who graduated from LSU with a degree in finance and accounting.

Her father was a customer focused retailer and instilled in her the importance of meeting, interacting, and helping others. These talents have been put to use when working with real-estate developer, Joe Canizaro, as well as in her own clothing business, and now in her outreach efforts for Crescent City Hearing. Margie can be found out in the community providing hearing screenings throughout the month. Margie has been a part of our team since 2016.
